Who am I to talk about brain research?
Johannes Faupel. Systemic supervisor with focus on psychiatric clinics. Author of self-help books on depression, anxiety, burnout syndrome.
The subject of my permanent brain research since 2001
I am the owner (sic!) of a benign intracerebral tumor in the cerebellopontine angle next to the acoustic nerve – therefore, permanently under pressure. And willing to learn what helps my brain to stay calm.
Since the MRI diagnosis in 2001, I am constantly reading scientific papers about brain research.
I am experimenting with my brain and learning about the brain: what calms it (me) down and what makes life interesting. How to live with something that should not be there, but is.
In the last 22 years, I had a lot of experiences with different types of brain use.
I want to make people empower themselves using established brain research knowledge to cope with daily issues and tasks.
